All public schools are required to have updated vaccination and immunization records. And most private schools adhere to this practice. Being an online facility, it is not necessary.  We are a private school with the option for our students to come and go at will. Any student who leaves our academy will be required to show updated vaccination and immunization records. Most states do have some exemptions from this legislation. This link to requirements will help you discover if you can be exempt from this process due to religion, special circumstances, and other conditions. Listed here on this site.

Kindergarten required?

According to government regulations, kindergarten is not a required class. Each state has the option to make regulations concerning this. So working parents and other financial situations mandated that every state offer a kindergarten class within each school district. Due to education reform.

The public school system must offer kindergarten. However, the children are not required to attend public school. Attendance applies to children between the ages of seven and sixteen. Also for children aged 5 or 6, as long as they are enrolled in public school.
